We went to the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago yesterday. Shooting rapidly moving jellyfish was a real challenge but I got a few that I liked.

February 17 2013 Last Morning in Florida

I realized I hadn't posted a picture of St. Pete Beach so here it is. This was right out in front of our hotel, the Guy Harvey Outpost.
Yesterday started off sunny, breezy and a little bit cool. By lunch we were talking heavy rain and temps in the high 50's. This morning there the temperature is 47 so I guess we picked the right day to leave.
On the other hand, it's only 11F here so it's all relative. Thanks again for all the comments while I was gone.

February 16 2013 Miniature circus

This is just amazing. It is the world's largest miniature circus, The Howard Bros. Circus Model. It has eight main tents, 152 wagons, 1,300 circus performers and workers, more than 800 animals and a 57-car train, on permanent display in the Ringling Circus Museum’s Tibbals Learning Center. The Howard Bros. Circus is a ¾-inch-to-the-foot scale replica of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus when the tented circus was at its largest (circa 1919-1938), and occupies 3,800 square feet This shot is from above.

We're flying home today just before temperatures drop to freezing in Florida. Thanks for all the comments while we're on vacation even though I haven't commented. I'll be back at it tomorrow.

Chilly and rainy yesterday so we had to look for something to do inside. Ended up at the St. Petersburg Pier Aquarium.
