Art Hill > September 23, 2009 Water drops Thanks so much for yesterday's overwhelming response to several of my photos. Somehow my 9 month old photo announcing I had been laid off resurfaced. I want to thank everyone for all the encouraging words and good thoughts about that. This is just such a wonderful community. To my further surprise and old post of neckties in New York and a winter time explosure from last January also garnered a fair amount of attention. And all of this was on top of my actual POD. Don't know how all that came together, but it made my day. So, once again, thank you so much.
Art Hill > Sept 11, 2009 Red Hibiscus Didn't think I would be able to post this morning as my computer would not go on. Just got the message Reboot and Selelct Proper Boot Device. My first thought was to pick the damn thing up and throw it out the window but I didn't want to wake my wife. An hour and a half later I am up and running but nervous. You may recall that I just sent in my laptop for fan repair. Thankfully that was back so that I could use it to research the problem on my main computer. Some of you may remember that I had my camera in for repair for weeks. I also am waiting on a new print head for my printer. Had to replace the sump pump and the pond pump within the last two weeks. Just not having a good run. Hope the car keeps working. We'll be gone all day so I'll have to catch up with commenting tomorrow. Have a great Friday. Hope all your stuff works.
Art Hill > August 31, 2009 Hibiscus up close Didn't have anything I liked for the POD so just now went out on the deck with the 60mm macro to get this. Tough to do hand held macro work. Art Hill > August 12, 2009 Hibiscus Up Close Thought I'd take a break from the water lilies with this hibiscus on our deck. We're heading out for a couple of days so I won't be able to post tomorrow morning. Just realized yesterday that I've been at this daily thing for over a year. I hadn't even been tracking it but somebody mentioned doing it for six months so I checked. This is my 395th post. Thanks to all who have enriched my experience here. It's a lot of fun.
