Art Hill > September 3, 2009 Catching the sun There's a sunflower plant growing in the corner of an old gas station nearby. I pass it all the time in the car and always think I should come back to shoot it. Last year I procratinated until it was too late. This year I almost did the same thing so I stopped yesterday. There was only one decent bloom left and it was way above my head, maybe 9 feet from the ground. This is it. I found it was pretty tricky to shoot with such a dark center.
