Art Hill > December 19 2009 It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas This is the view out my back window at 7:00 AM this morning. We're heading out in a couple of hour for the annual family Christmas party. There will be 36 of us this year. Hopefully this snow won't give us too many travel problems. Have a great weekend.

Art Hill > September 28, 2009 Last Daisy Caught this in our backyard with the afternoon sun shining through. I won't be posting tomorrow morning as we're leaving this afternoon for a long plane ride. I'll let you guess where we are in my next post. With a big time zone change I'll be posting much later in the day. I've noticed that when that happens practically nobody sees my pictures so you'll have to be on the lookout for it. (i.e. it won't be on the first couple of pages if that's how you usually browse).
Art Hill > September 25, 2009 Ready for salad Every night this week, same salad, sliced tomatoes, mozarella and pesto sauce with basil from the plant on our deck. And each night we both remark again how much better these are than store bought tomatoes. Shot this at 3200 ISO so as to avoid using flash. I'm pretty happy with the result.

Art Hill > September 23, 2009 Water drops Thanks so much for yesterday's overwhelming response to several of my photos. Somehow my 9 month old photo announcing I had been laid off resurfaced. I want to thank everyone for all the encouraging words and good thoughts about that. This is just such a wonderful community. To my further surprise and old post of neckties in New York and a winter time explosure from last January also garnered a fair amount of attention. And all of this was on top of my actual POD. Don't know how all that came together, but it made my day. So, once again, thank you so much.
