Art Hill > April 13, 2009 Jill and I
My wife and I in my daughter's backyard. We went to my daughter's for Easter Brunch. It was a little cool outside but we all went out any way to enjoy the sunshine.
Art Hill > February 8, 2009 What a difference a day makes
We drove up to Lake Geneva Wisconsin yesterday to see the snow sculpture contest. What they didn't bargain for was a temperature of 52 degrees. It was a shame. All of these elaborate sculptures were turning into puddles right before your eyes. None of them looked good and the worst of the lot were completely unrecognizable by the time we saw them around 2PM. There's always next year. And to think that January was the coldest on record.
Art Hill > April 25, 2009 May the road rise up to meet you
And with this post I'm closing this series on Route 66. Thanks to all of you who have made so many nice comments. I hope I've been able to give you a flavor of The Mother Road and inspired one or two of you to get out on an historic road near you.

May the wind be at your back.
Art Hill > January 11, 2009 What Really Matters
I got a bunch of nifty snow shots and some more night exposures and was going to post one of those for POD. See http://arthill.smugmug.com/gallery/7035315_e7i3x#452849065_ELmER if you care to. But I got to thinking that: sure it was a big snow day and it was a lot of work to clear the driveway. The driving was pretty miserable. It was cold. But we went over to my daughters to watch my two grandsons. It is so much fun and I got this shot of my wife and Kyle. At the end of the day, when you see this, it was a great day. And life is good.
Art Hill > January 29, 2009 Just Another Fish
Thought I would post one more fish from the tanks at Rain Forest Cafe. Thanks for all the great comments on yesterday's fish.
Art Hill > December 12, 2008 Sweet mice. In a candy store window. We thought it was pretty clever with the cherries and Hershey kisses.
Art Hill > September 27, 2009 My Family
We went to my niece's wedding. It's pretty rare for the six of us to get together without grandkids. Many of you have seen the grandkids so I thought I'd show off my daughters and my wife. I have two great son-in-laws too; we feel like they are our sons.
Art Hill > April 28, 2009 Living Life on the Edge
This bee fell into the tulip a couple of times but kept crawling until it got up to the edge.
Leaving for Galena this morning for 3 days so will not have much internet access.
Art Hill > March 3, 2009 Blue Heron
Everglades National Park. I rarely get decent bird shots but got pretty lucky on this trip.
