Art Hill > July 26, 2009 Back from our anniversary celebration. We had a wonderful time in downtown Chicago with a cruise on the tall ship Windy last night and lots of just enjoying the wonderful weather and incredible sights of Chicago. This is a picture of us out by the planetarium just before we drove home. The picture in the bottom left corner is one from July 25, 1998. It was with my first digital camera, a 1 megapixel Kodak. I had only had the camera for three weeks when we went downtown for our 28th anniversary. I did not shrink the picture at all - just pasted it in today's picture. I don't expect very many people will see this since I'm posting it so late but I wanted get something up today. Art Hill > October 8, 2009 Pelican Squadron I just wanted to show you that buildings aren't the ONLY thing I photographed in London. On our way to Buckingham Palace we walked through St. James Park. We thought we saw some swans in the water but as we approached saw that they were white pelicans. I have shot a fair number of pelicans but only in Florida and California. I never expected to see any in London, especially not 2 blocks from our hotel. And I didn't even know that pelicans come in white. Art Hill > July 2, 2009 Happy Birthday to Me Today is my birthday. We went out with the family last night for dinner. Kyle and Lindsey helped me blow out the candles and then they picked some candy off of the cake.

Art Hill > October 26, 2009 Scarlett The kids grew their own pumpkins in the backyard. These two are Scarlett's and she's pretty proud of them.
Art Hill > November 9, 2008 We visited the Kula Botanical Garden on the slope of Haleakala before heading for the airport. This is a protea plant. VERY large blossoms.
